One-syllable writing

This is harder than you think - to produce an interesting piece of writing with words of one syllable only, You should try it yourself!  I think this is a particularly effective piece of one-syllable writing :-)

He screamed, woke up from his bed and made his way to the door.  His heart raced as sweat rolled down from his head to his chin.  He was scared.  He was scared, and so he cried.  All his past thoughts flashed through his mind, and the pain made him fall on the floor.  He did not sleep at all cuz he could not do so, he would be dragged back to what he claims is hell once again.
